Tulips, Tea & Books, Oh My!

{stop!]

{and smell the tulips!}

{life is sweet}

{picking out some books to read}

{riding the elevator allll the way to the top}

{the famous Marienplatz is behind me}

{tea time, book time}

{secret to the perfect tea? whipped cream}

{tea with leaves?! really Mom?}

{I love reading new books!}

{long day exploring Marienplatz,...time to take the U-Bahn home}

                Gap jeans, Lacoste sweater, Lacoste beanie, Lacoste mittens, Zara boots, Zara purse

Today was a pretty typical day. Well, except that we didn't make our whole wheat belgium waffles with blueberries! (I usually stand on a ladder and crack the eggs, while supervising my Mom.) The weather is still pretty cold here in Munich so we try to find adventures that include some indoor stuff too. Today we walked around Marienplatz and did some people watching. There were some grown-ups acting like kids and holding hands with each other...I thought that was pretty funny. Marienplatz is always fun because there are lots of people walking around and it has really nice stands that sell ripe fruit, fresh flowers, roasted nuts and yummy German sausages. Mommy said Marienplatz is really old and that it's the heart of the old Munich. (I looked everywhere for this heart she was talking about but didn't see it.) I asked her if it was 6 years old but she said it was much older than that. Which means it must be 20 since thats the highest I can count! While we were walking around I found a pretty flower shop and decided to see if all the colors smelled the same. They all smelled a little different! Then we found a big bookstore and rode this really special elevator that was made of glass, all the way to the top! We had a really cool view of down below. I felt like a bird and the people looked like ants! On the top floor we found a table at the cafe, so we drank our tea and read a big tower of books. Mommy even let me pick out my two favorites! My Grandma, Lolo, always says that money is never wasted on fresh flowers and books. So there was no money wasted today! I hope everyone had a TEArific day too!

You Say Chocolate, I Say Yes Please!

{I found some hard boiled farm eggs in a market. I picked green!}

{picking out a flavor!}

{Mommy picked coconut and acted like she found paradise}

{Hmm this was def a first for me.}

{best hot chocolate in Munich!}

{this couldn't melt fast enough}

{my outfit matched the rustic feel of the cafe}

{tummy full of chocolate & heart full of happiness}

Zara lace shirt, Zara cardigan, Gap skinny jeans, Zara boots, Gap beanie

When Mommy mentioned taking the underground train into the city for hot chocolate and books, I put my boots on the wrong feet and ran out the door! Before you judge me for my chocolate obsession...let me tell you my beyond-amazing-explanation! Chocolate is made from a plant...vegetables grow on plants. You see where I am going with this? Not to mention the antioxidants that help me keep my youthful glow! And it's good for your heart...not just because it stimulates endorphin production and makes your heart happy but it actually lowers blood pressure too! So next time your parents are acting stressed out, just give them some dark chocolate and their tantrum should be over in no time! We rode the Munich U-Bahn into the city center and walked around outside before we found my new favorite place to get my chocolate fix. It was a cafe called Beluga Chocolaterie and the experience was as good as the chocolate. You walk in and see rows of chocolates on a stick! Then you pick your flavor and give it to the super nice girl who steams some milk and brings you your hot chocolate on a silver platter! I hope everyone had as delicious of a day as I did! Museum Chic

Zara Jacket, Zara Top, H&M leggings, Michael Kors Boots, Yours and Mayan purse

Mommy took me to the Deutsches Museum in Munich today. I learned that grown-ups have made some really cool things! I also learned that some grown-ups think little kids in the museum can be quite annoying. I usually cure those sour faces with a little smile. Smiles seem to make even grumpy people a little more happy! Living in different countries can be confusing sometimes so being able to look at things without needing to understand the language was a lot of fun...especially the kid section! I wanted to wear something comfy and also mature...you know, something the big kids would dig!
